Liam Farrelly

Liam Farrelly a Scottish comedian from Paisley, who started performing stand-up aged 17 whilst still in High School and who immediately went into comedy full-time after graduating.

A meteoric rise through the ranks has seen him nominated for and winning a raft of awards, have a guest acting role on BBC Scotland’s Scot Squad (S4E2, 2018) and perform at the UK’s best and most prestigious comedy clubs, including Scotland’s The Stand, Monkey Barrel, Liverpool’s Hot Water Comedy Club and both the London and Manchester Comedy Stores—all barely a year after first setting foot on a stage.

John Gavin started off his comedy career after his wife entered him for a stand up competition without his knowledge; a month later he found himself in the final of So You Think You’re Funny alongside acts like Seann Walsh and Josh Widdicombe.
A year on from this John went on to win Scottish Comedian of the Year. He hates being defined by his performance in competitions, but realises that people like to put such achievements on posters, so thinks it would be daft not to mention them!
A regular act at all of the big comedy chains, you can find John gigging most weekends at Highlight, Jongleurs, Glee, The Stand, The comedy Club and many smaller independent gigs throughout the UK.
During the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015, Gavin was part of a regular stand-up show throughout the fringe run at the Gilded Balloon.
